Today's passage is Psalm 80 17-19
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand,
the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you;
revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, LORD God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.
I don[t know about you, but I am having trouble making this fit and Advent theme. I could look it up in all of my resource books I suppose, but I chose instead to simply appreciate the last verse. REstore us, Lord God Almighty, Make your face shine on us, that we may be saved, read to yourself becomes, REstore ME, Lord God Almighty, make you face shine on ME, That I may be saved.
